Syria Hacks The President

The Syrian Electronic Army (SEA) took credit for hacking President Barack Obama’s Twitter and Facebook account. On Monday October 28th, for a short time, visitors to the President’s Facebook and Twitter page were re-directed to a 24 minute long pro Assad video titled “Syria facing terrorism.”

The SEA Tweeted “Thank you Obama for redirecting people to the #SEA website.” As well as “We accessed many Obama campaign emails accounts to assess his terrorism capabilities. They are quite high #SEA.”

The SEA exploited a vulnerability in the URL shortner by agency that promotes Obamacare, Organizing for Action.
